This was my first show at DAR - having lived in DC for 3 years and seeing dozens of shows at 930, Black Cat and DC9... so needless to say, this was quite a bit different. Luckily, they have continued to expand and evolve as a band and all the new material sounded remarkable - even if more noticeably Robin conducted. Also, Seattle folky blues band Cave Singers put on an amazing opening act! Having first seen them at the midnight show of their 930 Club double-header Summer 09... this enormous sit-down theatre was an incredibly different atmosphere. Great show. My second time seeing Cirque Dreams. I will surely see them again. Not for every indie rock band but a rock-able venue for the Foxes.

"We were right in front of Kirks guitar tech and the guys walked right by us on the way in & out. This is the second show that I've seen on this tour (7th time total) and every time I see them live, I am just blown away by everything that is goin on around me. We actually got one of the big beach balls that fell from the sky @ the end of the show, and I was able to get some really good pics of the guys close up. The lazer light show was just unbelievable. We will NEVER forget this, and it was by far the BEST concert I have ever attended. We were right on the barricade, and we also walked away w/ 4 picks and a copy of the set list."

"Such an amazing performance! She belted out song after song when she came out. After a solid 2 hours of singing, I do not know how she can speak. She told everyone at Atlantic City that any money she was going to make was going back into the community. A person to basically go out there and put on a concert for free, that was such an amazing thing. Even though she basically did it for free, she gave a performance to always be remembered. I would definitely recommend going to a Cirque Dreams concert to anyone interested in country. Probably the biggest production I have ever seen by a country artist, it always was. GO SEE CIRQUE DREAMS! Also, someone proposed at the concert and she stopped mid song, telling the girl to say YES! She then started to cry. She is not just a performer, but she is also an awesome person."
